Private School Fund

As permitted by Derbyshire County Council financial regulations, our school operates a Private School Fund account. The income into this account is separate from the main funding that the school receives from the Local Authority. The Private School Fund is used to purchase additional items for the school. The accounts for the fund are audited on an annual basis by an independent auditor, appointed by the governing body.


During the 2016/17 academic year, the receipts into the Private School Fund were as follows:
Commission on school photograph sales   £541.73
Credit interest on bank accounts   £0.63

Receipts from Parents for Young Voices Tickets   £799.50

Donation from Toyota UK   £400.00

Receipts from Parents for Sponsored Read   £281.00
Total income   £2,022.86
During the 2016/17 academic year, the payments from the Private School Fund were as follows:


Purchase of playground equipment and signs   £673.00
