At Newhall Community Junior School we believe that learning a foreign language is a really important part of a child's development. We have chosen to learn French throughout the school to help children to gain a really good understanding of one language. Children are taught in a range of different ways including the use of stories, poems, playing games and of course by singing! Most importantly we want our children to have fun while they learn, to help them remember key vocabulary and to encourage them to think about continuing to learn a foreign language when they move on to secondary education.
