Moving Forward, Aiming High!

PSA

Welcome to the PSA section!

The PSA is the Parents and School Association.

PSA meetings are usually held on the first Wednesday of every month, but we are currently in a 'relaunch' phase, so our meetings may be a little more irregular. During these meetings, fundraising ideas are discussed and future events are planned. An additional meeting may be held during the week prior to a particular event.

The PSA is always looking for new members and people who are willing to help out at fundraising events. If you may be interested, please speak to an existing PSA member or give your name and contact number to the School Office.

The funds raised by the PSA are used to provide valuable experiences, activities and equipment for the benefit of the children attending our school. The following are examples of items that the PTA have either paid for or subsidised:

 - Playground shelter
 - Visit by Rosliston Owls
 - Rosliston shelter making activitiy
 - Visits by Twycross Zoo & Tropical Inc
 - St Johns first aid training for Year 6 pupils
 - Magical Mayhem
 - Wet playtime and outdoor playtime games
 - Several educational visits have been subsidised by the PSA.

 - Year 6 leavers hoodies (2020) subsidised by the PTA

Many of the items above would not have been able to go ahead without the support of the PSA.

The PSA regularly organises themed discos, the Easter bingo, the Summer Fayre and the Christmas & Summer raffles.

All of our PSA members are parents and carers with busy lives, and we are very grateful to them for the time they give to the school. They do have a lot of fun as well!

So, if you can spare a few hours occasionally, please come along and join us.
